This month, we are featuring one of our top senior consultants, Raphael De Loenen.
Raphael has more than 37 years of experience in the global oil and gas industry and having most of his years on the upper-level management. Before joining LR Consultants, he retired as the Chief Operating Officer of ORPIC in Sultanate of Oman.
He is a mechanical engineer by profession and completed his Master at Drexel University in Philadelphia, USA. Raphael enjoys working in a multicultural environment and discovered the power of a diverse workforce.
His main expertise is in transitioning capital project management systems into Operations Management Systems (OMS) for newly built refinery and petrochemical facilities. The OMS risk themes typically cover occupational health and safety, process safety,environmental, asset integrity and hydrocarbon utilisation.
He is currently working for LR Consultants as Project Director for an innovative project to capture, transport and store carbon dioxide gases (CCS) in the Port of Antwerp.
