Every public and private entity operating in the UAE — including free zones. Key impacted sectors include:

What You Need to Do
1. Measure & report your Scope 1 & 2 emissions (Scope 3 where applicable).
2. Use official templates provided by MOCCAE.
3. Implement decarbonization actions — energy efficiency, clean power, carbon capture (CCUS), refrigerant phaseout, etc.
4. Maintain emissions records for 5 years and be audit-ready.
5. Align operations with UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 strategy and sectoral emission targets.
6. Start now — compliance begins May 30, 2025.
